The Weather Girl

Get ready, friends. It's that time when I may have to start giving you the daily weather report...

30ºF, overcast, snow on the ground. Expected high for the day, 40ºF. Need I say more?

And for any of you who might have been whining about me posting photos from a sunny beach somewhere in the world where they get more than 2.43 months of summer (yes, I'm referring to you, VERN!), quit your beyotching... your weather is no worse than mine! Haha. Love you too.

Hope you all have a warm sunny delightful day!

First Snow...

Yes, take note. It's October 6th and it's snowing...and it's cold. I'm so not ready for this...

How I Spent My Day...

Very full day...not even enough time to write in full sentences or explain...

...and yes, it flies...maybe not in a straight line, but it does fly!

A Good Day for Sewing

It rained today...really hard...for a short time...but really hard nonetheless.

That makes it a good day for sewing.

Monday Monday...

...can't trust that day...or at least that's what the Mamas and Papas used to say. Some Mondays are better than others. Some are just busy with stuff. Today was just busy with stuff. At least I got the dogs groomed...well, partially anyway.

Great Are the Gifts

For my friends who belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and (anyone else who cares to listen and learn), the gift of General Conference is of immeasurable value.

Not everyone is open to the messages that are given, although I fail to understand why, since they are of love, of peace, of inclusion, of hope. I wonder what the "inspiration" for this young man's message is. What has provoked him to anger, to cynicism?

Personally, I prefer to look up...even if it is at the clouds.
