X is for Exit

Ahhhh...another Alphabe-Thursday...and this week's letter is X.

X is for eXit...which is what I'm sad to say I'll be making gracefully from Alphabe-Thursday for now.

Partly because we're eXpecting a new grandbaby in the next couple weeks and I just might be eXceptionally busy helping out....

...but also because I'm eXhausted from trying to keep up with my blog and visiting everyone else's blogs while keeping up with real life too (oh yes, I actually have one)....

You've all been eXceptionally kind with your visits and comments, and I'll miss you for sure. I'll still be around, so do stop by from time to time...Jake and Albert will be watching and waiting for you.

And keep up the eXtraordinary work you've been doing on your own blogs. Don't forget to stop by Mrs. Jenny's to see some fine eXamples of Alphabe-Thursday.

I can relate. I don't blog on a daily basis like many do because I sometimes feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with everyone else. I finally decided I'd just blog when I can and visit from time to time, but not daily. I'm not putting any pressure on myself. I've noticed over the last year that some of the blogs I was following have cut back or totally disappeared. It's too bad because some of them were really enjoyable, but I guess it got to be too much.

I understand! We'll miss you, but life can be too busy to talk about it when you're busy just living it! ...Congratulations! I know you will enjoy having some unpressured time to enjoy that little one!

A new baby in the family! That IS EXCITING! Congratulations to all of you. One of the wonderful things about these blogs is you can stop when you need to, and then, when you are able to resume you will find friends waiting and happy to hear from you again.

Nooo! (It is exhausting, keeping up.) I recommend you post whatever you wish -- and I will certainly come visit. Great tummy shot!

Grandma, congratulations on the approaching BIG event! [Thought I might get to be the first to call you grandma?]

This really is a problem with blogging, it really does take a lot of time. For me, I enjoy the contacts and friendship that runs with the process.

Part of how I try to manage is to 'regulate' the number of comments by posting late once in a while (plus I don't post every day). I do sometimes have to miss returning comments. I save all that I haven't returned in a special file for me to make sure I don't lose friends by skipping anyone in particular more often than the others.

So, for once, I really do not like your "X" words. I will do the "Y" and "Z" to finish the series but them I do not have a new grandchild coming either.

Best wishes. It would be nice to know that all is well when he/she comes. I will check and am betting that you will post that news!!!!

I totally understand!!! I barely manage my once a week post and love to visit...if there were only some more time in a day... Your sweet visits will be missed! But oh my goodness, have lots and lots of snuggle time with your new grandbaby! I am LOVING being here visiting ours and look forward to the next week of being able to hold, hug, watch, play...with her.

Blessings & Aloha!
I wanted to stop by and say thank you for your lovely visit!

This sounds like a true life's story: Joyful and sad at the same time. I just found you through Alphabe- Thursday and enjoyed your photography immensely, so I will miss you there. But, I am following you, so if/when you post an update on the joy you'll have with your grandchild I'll see it. And I look forward to it. Enjoy life!

Hooray on a new baby! I hope you are busy, busy, busy with the love and joy that will bring!

I'm going to continue this for another round or two. It's a good focus for me, personally, and I still enjoy the grab bag of posts everyone comes up with.

Come join anytime.

And I'll be by to visit to check up on you, too!

Thanks for being such a fun part of this meme for so long!
