A One Block Walk

Sometimes I like to challenge myself by picking a small area - a downtown block, for instance - and just find random things to shoot. I turned over the "big guns" to the hubby and used only my cell phone. It turned out to be very fun. Maybe I'll let him have the "good" camera...well, every once in a while, anyway.

You've definitely got the eye. And how come your cell phone takes waaaay better pictures than mine? I guess your photographer magic stays with you no matter what you're using!

What kind of cell phone do you have? Those are amazing! I don't think I could get those shots with either my regular camera or my cell phone. Beautiful work.

You certainly have a great cell phone for taking pictures, who needs the big guns when you can shoot images like these...I really enjoyed your visit to just a block in your city....the pet store visit is really cool....!

Thanks for all your kind comments.

For those who have asked, it's an iPhone4s...however, I got some pretty good results with my old Motorola Droid too... and with a $20 plastic camera from Russia called a Holga (in the day...not shooting much film these days)... it's definitely not all about the pixels.

Great photos--here and below. I was trying to figure out where Liberty was in Utah as I thought I had been all over that state including lots of places most people haven't been, but I haven't been to liberty-only as far as Eden. I suppose Liberty is where you go when your kicked out of Eden! Beautiful country.
