Wind and Blue Ice: Exploring Lago Grey

Back to Torres del Paine again. Sometimes I can't find words that add anything, and so I have to just let the images speak for themselves.

These are Huemules, an andean variety of deer. They are an endangered species, numbering about 15,000 in Chile and Argentina. In Torres del Paine, there are an estimated 20, so actually seeing this pair was quite special. 

In Search of the Gems of the Earth

I decided to take a little detour from my Patagonia photos...I almost forgot that we took a road trip to Yellowstone. It was during that dreaded time that I was without a computer. So, more photos that never got looked at (by me) or shown (to you). It's good to have my computer back again...oh, how dependent I've become! And I have to admit that it is much nicer to savor the beauties of the earth than to dwell on the horrors and pain and suffering that also surrounds us. It's all about balance and always being grateful.
