Never Give Up

A few weeks ago... maybe even a few days ago...we were thinking that my mother-in-law, aka Granny, was giving up - checking out on us. But apparently she's decided that it doesn't have to be that way*. No more sleeping her days away. No more hangin’ out in PJs. Time to get up, get out and live large! She even wanted to go out and chow down at a favorite local restaurant. I’m here to tell ya, she’s BACK in a big way, and we’re thrilled!

Well, all of us except Gus, maybe… he preferred when she was too sick to flap his ears like Dumbo.

*It's Saturday Centus time and this was my take on the prompt (in red above) from Mrs. Jenny. Check out what the other Centusians had to say by clicking here.

Then come back and see what else was going on while we were visiting with Granny...

The dogs had a blast romping and playing with their dog "cousins" and the horses.

Both Jake and Albert insisted on getting up close and personal with the horses and exchanging a few kisses.

This is not the best photo in the world, but it was soooo great for Granny to get her appetite back!

And these guys were all waiting to greet us when we got back from lunch. What a funny bunch.

We love the beautiful Christmas decorations that my sis-in-law put around the house, but honestly, the cheeriest thing of all was to see Granny up and about and to hear her infectious laugh. Welcome back, Granny!!

Grannies are precious. I'm so glad your Granny is up and about again. I love those dogs too. They're very brave to go so close to those horses. They're surely small enough to fit into a horse's mouth!

Hi by the way, I've called by from Jenny's Saturday Centus :-)

Maybe granny needed a reason to get out of bed and back into life. Maybe she found it through you and the dogs and the horses. Go granny go!~Ames

You can just tell she loves life! I suspect you take exactly after her!
