I know it's Alphabe-Thursday and so you think I'm going to post more photos from Chilean Patagonia. And normally I would, but this week we study the sumptuous letter S, so I thought that a little switch in scenery was in order. Honestly, I'd be totally remiss if I didn't share some of the amazing beauty that we are being blessed with right now in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah...right here in my back yard...literally.
So sit back, relax and let your senses soar. Fall is here in all its glory. It makes me want to sing praises to that God who made us and who loves us enough to paint the world in stunning and radiant colors.

If you loved this, check out yesterday's post...the clouds were INCREDIBLE!! Next week, back to Patagonia we go to complete the alphabet "tour." Meanwhile I hope you are enjoying a beautiful fall (or spring, if you're in the southern hemisphere). Be sure to stop by and visit the other Alphabetarians over at Mrs. Jenny's and see what they're stirring up this week.

I can almost not believe what I see. Such incredible beauty. This is when I bemoan the fact that I cannot paint my way out of a paperbag. I would love to see this series painted in oil. An impressionist's playland. Brava, my friend.
What stunning photos! You have more fall color than we do in Wisconsin so far, but I'm sure being near the mountains helps. You have made me want to visit Utah someday.
Amazing photos as always, but the last four quite stunning! I love the mixed matched feeling I got, with mostly summer shots and then some with autumn slowly slipping in...quite a nice layout!
Wow, I had no idea that Utah was so beautiful in the fall. Gorgeous pictures!
Wow! You are so far ahead of us in the color show! My maple is turning quite quickly, starting at the top and beginning to work downward, but the trees that survived the drought are still quite green, thanks to the "latter rains"!
Wow! stunning! Thanks so much for sharing theses beautiful photos! What an amazing paint job!
Oh Anita, I love your scenery pictures. The reds of the trees are soooo nice!
And that pretty cloud. But it did make it to us here in Texas. We are its regular hangout. Last night it was illuminated by the moon an was breath taking!
..
I haven't been to Utah in ages (been to all 50) but Mrs. Jim was to Salt Lake City last fall and then we met up in Denver/Colorado Springs.

Oh, Anita! How I loved driving through the Wasatch chain! All those wonderful colors! An excellent "S" post!!
xoxo
Gorgeous colors! I love when the leaves turn...we are on the coast of southern Georgia, so not any of that quite yet. My dad in northern Wisconsin has had some beautiful fall productions around his lake home.
Blessings & Aloha!
Absolutely stunning!! Thanks for sharing these!
Those photos are definitely picture perfect!
Splendid! Your photos are breathtaking. Excellent post.
Really lovely autumn colors, beautiful landscapes very interesting, I really like.
You are so talented!!! I love these beautiful colors!
This is UTAH?
For some reason I thought there were primarily aspens there!
The colors are absolutely splendid!
Since I live in the desert, I really, really, really loved this post!
Thanks for sharing autumn with us.
A+++
