The snow finally arrived..real snow. Thank goodness too. It's been too warm for this time of year and the little amounts of snow that fell earlier in the season have been melting in the valley and causing extensive flooding for those who live at the bottom of the hill.
Finally, though, yesterday, a real snow storm - biggest snow flakes I've EVER seen!!! - and the temps are in the 20s (please don't warm up!) and there's more to come (so we hear...)...

Awesome winter time photos, and lucky for those at the bottom of the hill it sounds...we too, have finally this middle week in January gotten the real taste of winter. But that's been fine because last year winter was just a bear!
Hi Anita,
What beautiful snow pictures. I enjoyed the snow video. We finally got a real snow storm yesterday also. I have been loving the warm weather, but we really needed that snow. Luckily, we should be fine because we got dumped on last year. Just hoping it doesn't snow in June.
Hugs,
Jann
Fantastic snaps and the last one stole my heart...colours amidst the grey.
Our mountains are getting dumped on too. These pictures make me want to come up/over for a visit.
Thanks for the beautiful pics. Makes me homesick.
It was so warm when we left for Mexico that we didn't have coats on. Coming home to snow made that a bit regrettable.
