Time Flies

It's been a fun (and busy) few days, but alas, it had to come to an end. It was sad to see my daughter and son-in-law and their cute little family off this evening. We did manage a quick trip to the air museum, though, before they left. The boys were a bit disappointed that there wasn't an airplane that they could go inside, which was sad, but they managed to make the most of it and have fun anyway, which I thought was pretty mature for a 2 and 4 year old.

 Checking out the ejection seat...

Looking at dad through the windows of a helicopter...

I guess climbing ON the planes was better than nothing, since they couldn't go IN the planes.

 Little boys being little boys.

 More crazy summer clouds.

Savoring one last sweet treat at Grandma's house.

Good to the very last drop.

Having a few last moments visiting with Thump.

The boys were super sweet with him.

Brothers being sweet and funny with each other.

They really do love each other.

Thump had to check out THEIR toys too...

All packed and ready to go...even Delilah, their sweet old pooch.

And one last good laugh before hitting the road.

I love these guys. I'm sure going to miss them.

Such a cute family!

I'll bet the boys had fun with Thump...and with the "other" boys, too.

This looks so fun. And I love seeing their boys 4 and 2 and picturing Gavin and Liam like that in a year and a half, just the best of friends.

Oh so cute. Love the single picture of the older boy.
They will always have a good friend in each other.
I think siblings are the closest relationship we have besides our spouse. They last most of our whole life through and share so many important memories.

What a beautiful family, Anita. You are so talented at catching all the right moments; kind of like a storyteller :)
